Translation

Some members have completed the production or writing of  Yorùbá – medium books which are consistent with CEYOLENG’s Areas of Focus. Among such are
the following notable ones:

i. Yorùbá translation of the Functions of the Local Government Councils as
contained in the Fourth Schedule of 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of
Nigeria.

(In – depth Analysis of Yorùbá Language (1): Phonetics and

It is an outstanding textbook, which presents a scholarly treatment of the subject – matter entirely in the medium of Yorùbá, and in 1990, deservedly won an Honourable Mention from an International Publishing Outfit — The Noma Award for Publishing in African. To date, it remains the best manual available on Yorùbá Phonetics and Phonology.

Ó Tó Gẹ́ẹ́, Ọmọ Odùduwà: Ogun Ìṣàmúlò Èdè  Yorùbá ní Ibikíbi, ní Ipòkípò àti ní Àyèkayè di Jíjà Wàyí.

A lecture delivered mainly in the medium of Yoruba language on the occasion of International Mother Language Day, February 21, 2007, at the Cultural Centre, Mọ́kọ́lá, Ìbàdàn, Ọ̀yọ́ State, under the auspices of the Oòduà World Council and Yorùbá Studies Association of Nigeria, with focus on general issues such as Yorùbá language revival, Yorùbá language development, efforts in regard to Yorùbá language application, etc.

Àwọn Olùkópa àti Ojúṣe Wọn nínú Ìdàgbàsókè àti Ìgbéga Èdè Yorùbá

A lecture delivered entirely in the Yorùbá medium on the occasion of International Mother Language Day, February 21, 2008, at the Cultural Centre, Kútọ̀, Abẹ́òkúta, Ògùn State, under the auspices of Association of Teachers of Yorùbá Language and Culture of Nigeria, Ògùn State Chapter, with focus on the various roles of governments, organizations, and individuals in the development and use of the Yorùbá language.
