He is journalist and Publisher of ALAROYE Newspaper. A Yoruba news reaser and presenter with Lagos State Broadcasting Corporation (Radio Lagos), Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) and Nigeria Television Authority (NTA), he started ALAROYE in 1996 and the leading indigenous language newspaper has since risen to become the world largest user of Yoruba language (in print). In his broadcasting days, Adedayo was best known for his translation of top Grade A broadcast which included presidents’ and governors’ speeches. He translated some parts of Hadith of the Prophet of Islam to Yoruba in 1994, and in 2019 translated the autobiography of the late sage, Obafemi Awolowo, into Yoruba. Adedayo has also written many books in Yoruba language.
